Notice the custom interlocking edge seam, as the concrete transitions down the sidewalls of the countertop. This would be a great concept to test on our concrete countertops. While the MIT students irradiated and pulverized the plastic, I would simply like to experiment with grinding plastic water bottles to a course grind (.25 –> .375″ range) and use it as a “plastic aggregate” in the concrete mix design.
